Wood Betony, (Stachys officinalis), also known as bishopswort, is a popular herb known for its protection and purification properties, especially against evil spirits, nightmares, dark fears, and imaginations.  Place a Wood Betony filled pouch under your pillow to alleviate nightmares.  Grown outside, it will protect the home from negative energies and spirits.  Scattered near doors and windows to form an impenetrable protective barrier around the property.  Carry a bit of this herb in an amulet to draw love into your life.  Burn over a charcoal disk to banish disharmony in a relationship.
