Cerridwen & Cauldron Plaque

This Cerridwen & Cauldron Plaque by Dryad Design would make a fantastic addition to any pagan’s home.  The goddess Cerridwen created a magical brew in her cauldron that was stirred for a year and a day.  The first three drops of this brew would grant the gift of Awen, infinite inspiration, wisdom and the knowledge of all there ever was and would be.  Those three drops were accidentally stolen by the young boy hired to stir her cauldron.  The myth of the Goddess’ pursuit of the boy involves a dramatic series of shape changing which ended in her consuming him when he changed into a single piece of grain.  She gave birth nine months later to the infamous Taliesin, the greatest bard and wizard that ever lived.

Cerridwen was the muse whose cauldron brought inspiration to poets, musicians, writers and those of the creative arts.  She is also a sacred Goddess to the Celtic Druids and is often asked for guidance to those staring their magickal journey.
